Detroit -- Five Canadian residents
are among six people indicted by a U.S. grand jury yesterday to bring the
total number of people charged in an alleged plot to smuggle illegal
immigrants to the United States from China to 11.
The six new defendants are allaccused of conspiring to smuggle aliens.
Three of the people charged are from Toronto. Details on the others were
not unavailable. AP
