Tuesday, June 6, 2000 INCREASING SECURITY AT PRINCE GEORGE
PRISON
(BCTV) - They're
beefing up security at the Prince George prison where the adult
Chinese migrants are being held. The last of seven migrants who
escaped over the weekend was recaptured Monday when he went to a
house and asked for help. An intensive search turned up the other
six on Sunday. Corrections B.C. says there's no problem with
security, but they have added a rooftop patrol and the migrants
won't be working in the kitchen. The attorney general has ordered
a review into how the migrants were able to escape - that should
wrap up in two to three weeks. |
